November 2023: The name Young and Restless was initially coined by Darren and Samantha as branding for a fundraising event for the Young Eye Foundation’s Young Eye Bursary.

January 2024: Young and Restless officially became a product of the Young Eye Initiative as an independent organization, along with sister organizations: the Young Eye Foundation and Young Eye International. 

March 2024: The Sustainable Impact Summit launches. The event was a pitch competition where 10 teams competed for a CAD$1,000 prize to help fund climate-related ventures.

November 2024: Young and Restless Climate-Based Hackathon launches, where 9 teams presented solutions to climate-induced emergencies around education, mitigation, and adaptation. Teams were awarded CAD$1,500 to inspire ideation.
